Ok friends here comes today's episode. Shaan and Alka ji both are on the stage singing "Kuchh To Hua Hai (Kal Ho Na Ho)". Aaj ki theme hai "Pehla Pyaar".
Aaj ke guest judge hain mash-hoor Gazal gaayak Jagjit Singh ji.
JS - Aajkal bahut saare aise programme chal rahe hain, lekin VOI sabse best hai. Aaj main dekhne aaya hoon ki yeh log (contestants) gaate bhi hain ki sirf muh hilaate hain.

First contestant hai Irfan. There is a short AV now, Irfan is shown talking about love and whether he had any crush or something like that.

JS - I appreaciate your decision, she sang well. Baaki aapke (judges) aapas ka jo bhi jhagda hai woh aapas mein nipta leejiye.

She begins singing...and Whoa! she suddenly stops! Ab kya problem ho gayi?
Abhilasha - Mera throat theek nahin hai
Ok...phirse restart hota hai song. Average thi performance, awaaz mein kharaash pataa chal rahi thi gaate huye.

AB - Main dekh rahaa tha Mirande, tum aur Sumitra aajkal extra curricular activities mein kuchh jyada hi time spend kar rahe ho. Hum log yahaan jhak maarne ke liye nahin bethe hain, main bilkul bardasht nahin karoonga aisi cheezon ko. Hum log sirf music/songs ko sunne ke liye hain yahaan.

Balle balle aaj ka episode shuru ho gayaa hai, maine last sat ka episode miss kar diya tha so am feeling a bit more excited now. Lekin abhi Ind vs Eng ka match bhi aa rahaa hai so I'll have to flip between channels..haha!
Shaan is on stage, saying few lines as he always does. He mentions that aaj Sangeen Shukrawar hai, aaj reh jaayenge bemisal Gyarah aur ek participant baahar ho jaayega/jaayegi.
Then he says that there is a surprise today, he asks Judges to reveal it.
Jatin - Main Alka ji se vinti karta hoon ki woh jaldi waapas aa jaayen.
And guess what She is indeed back. Alka ji is BACKKKKKKKKKKK! Waaah, I didn't expect this, I am pleasantly suprised I must say. GS brings her to stage...
Alka - Main sabka shukriya ada karna chahoongi, sabse jyada participants ka jinhone mujhse itni baar request ki waapas aane ke liye.
Now all contestants are on stage, sab ek ek karke aage aa rahe hain aur apna intro kar rahe hain kuchh lines gaate huye style se. Ab sab log VOI theme song gaa rahe hain.

I was kind of surprised at her choice, main soch raha tha ki iss type ke song ko gaa paayegi ki nahin. And she does extremely well infact. Very well sung.

Woohoo, aaj ka episode shuru ho gayaa hai. Shaan says fews words about votes they have received, he says they have received laakho votes.
Aaj Sangeen Shukrawar hai yaanee ki Elimination ka din. Aaj Kishore da special episode hai, 4th Aug ko unka janmdin hota hai. Today's guests are his sons Amit Kumar and Sumit Kumar (Sumit looks completely different from Amit, I was a bit surprised at first).
It has been decided that boys will sing Kishore da's songs and girls Asha ji's. Shaan introduces two new words today, Suraksha Chakra and Chakrawaat denoting Safe and Unsafe respectively. Dono teams se ek ek karke contestants aakar perform karenge.

Ok guys, the episode starts. Ab kal ki highlights dikha rahe hain, esp end mein jo ladaai jhagda hua tha woh.
After a while it is decided that Sumitra need not perform. Matlab ki baaki ke do contestants (Irfan/Priyani) ko gaana padega.

Ab Arvind. Abhi tak uske points hain 25, Abhejeet da ne usko sirf 6 points diye hain. His total is 31/50 now. Lagta hai aaj Arvind baahar ho jaayega.
Ishmeet ke ab tak total hai 31, Aadesh ji ne use diye hain 10..wow! Ab uska total ho gayaa hai 41.
Priyani ka total hai 36, Alka ji se usko sirf 6 (expectedly) mile hain. Shaan asks for Alka ji's comments, but she says that she has already said whatever she wanted to. Priyani ka final total hai 42/50. So she is through too.
Vipul ka ab tak ka total hai 32, he needs to score 9 or 10. Jatin ji se use mile hai 8. His final tally is 40/50. Alas, he is out too.

Abhijeet says ki Arvind ko mere hawaale kar do. Main isko train karoonga. He asks him to show some passion, he wants him to take advantage of the opportunity god has given him.
Vipul ki aankho mein aansoo hai, he thanks the judges and his mom, his dada ji and his Guru ji. He says ki usne kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha ki woh kabhi itne badi hastiyon ke saamne perform karge. Judges also say few encouraging words to him.
End mein sab contestants (bemisaal baarah) stage par aate hain so that people can see them. Arvind sings Zingagi ke Safar mein guzat jaate hain jo mukaam woh phir nahi aate...they all join him.

Sabse pehle Irfan, Lalit ji gives him 9. His total score is 47/50. Hmm, lagta hai ki he is through.
Ab Arvind. Abhi tak uske points hain 25, Abhejeet da ne usko sirf 6 points diye hain. His total is 31/50 now. Lagta hai aaj Arvind baahar ho jaayega.
Ishmeet ke ab tak total hai 31, Aadesh ji ne use diye hain 10..wow! Ab uska total ho gayaa hai 41.
Priyani ka total hai 36, Alka ji se usko sirf 6 (expectedly) mile hain. Shaan asks for Alka ji's comments, but she says that she has already said whatever she wanted to. Priyani ka final total hai 42/50. So she is through too.
Vipul ka ab tak ka total hai 32, he needs to score 9 or 10. Jatin ji se use mile hai 8. His final tally is 40/50. Alas, he is out too.

Abhijeet says ki Arvind ko mere hawaale kar do. Main isko train karoonga. He asks him to show some passion, he wants him to take advantage of the opportunity god has given him.
Vipul ki aankho mein aansoo hai, he thanks the judges and his mom, his dada ji and his Guru ji. He says ki usne kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha ki woh kabhi itne badi hastiyon ke saamne perform karge. Judges also say few encouraging words to him.
End mein sab contestants (bemisaal baarah) stage par aate hain so that people can see them. Arvind sings Zingagi ke Safar mein guzat jaate hain jo mukaam woh phir nahi aate...they all join him.

Aaj ka episode shuru ho gayaa hai. Ab clippings dikha rahe hain ki aaj ke episode mein kya hoga. Ok, clippings khatam. Ab Shaan stage par hai, he is singing remixed Musu Musu
Hasi. Gaate gaate he brings on stage our bemisaal chaudah (14).

And waah kya latke-jhatke maar rahi hai, Mauli-Shauli to pheeki padh rahi hai ab iske saamne. Singing wise bhi bade achhey andaaz mein gaa rahi hai, overall ekdam solid atmosphere create kar diya hai.
Judges are extremely impressed with her, esp Jatin..he says ki isko to points dene ki zaroorat hi nahi hai, isko to top 12 mein hona hi chahiye. He goes on stage and kisses Mirande on forehead. Abhijit goes and kisses Jatin's forehead...phir Jatin in turn grabs Abhijit and kisses him (on cheek I think). They all decide that she is in bemisaal baarah.

Then Shaan says ki kal aap logo ne kahaa thaa naa ki koi light song gaaye probably bec'se of that. Then Aditi asks ki koi aur song gaaoon? Shaan asks if she can be given another chance, judges discuss a bit and asks her to sing few lines of any other song. Now Aditi seems to be crying, she can't control her. Judges ask her to take a break and sing later.

Judges are discussing something now, Jatin proposes that Rian should not be eliminated and should be kept in standby as he has a different style, other judges agree with him.
Abhijeet says ki agar Ryan aayega to Sanchari ko bhi rakhna hoga standby mein. They all agree so both Ryan and Sanchari are in Standby.
One thing I don't understand is why Ryan is being given a long rope...he was terrible today..if this is his style and this is how he sings then I am sorry he should be out right now. He was soooooo bad...itne achhey song ka SATYANAASH kar diya. Agar main judge hota to beech mein hi rok deta aur bolta...bahut ho gayaa bhai, tata bye bye!

Judges are discussing something now, Jatin proposes that Rian should not be eliminated and should be kept in standby as he has a different style, other judges agree with him.
Abhijeet says ki agar Ryan aayega to Sanchari ko bhi rakhna hoga standby mein. They all agree so both Ryan and Sanchari are in Standby.
One thing I don't understand is why Ryan is being given a long rope...he was terrible today..if this is his style and this is how he sings then I am sorry he should be out right now. He was soooooo bad...itne achhey song ka SATYANAASH kar diya. Agar main judge hota to beech mein hi rok deta aur bolta...bahut ho gayaa bhai, tata bye bye!

Thoshi – 10/10
I felt like giving him 11/10.. amamzing performance. Mesmerizing performance.. gr88 voice.. no words to say.. simply terrific
Mirande – 7/10
She was good, she cane be better with time.
Ryan- 6.5/10
His attempt was really good but seems he need to work on Pronunciations a lot as he got accent in his singing. He can sing English songs well.
Sheveli- 5/10
Ok ok performance
Shubhanker – 5/10
No feel in the song
Shraddha – 7/10
Melodious voice; very good song and sung it very well.. but can be better with time.
Arvind – 6/10
I liked his perf.. he looks cute and he definitely resembles Sonu Nigam Cute guy
Sumitra – 9.5/10
Very difficult song she sung; but very very good.. excellent performance and song. I loved her voice.
