Balle balle aaj ka episode shuru ho gayaa hai, maine last sat ka episode miss kar diya tha so am feeling a bit more excited now. Lekin abhi Ind vs Eng ka match bhi aa rahaa hai so I'll have to flip between channels..haha!

Shaan is on stage, saying few lines as he always does. He mentions that aaj Sangeen Shukrawar hai, aaj reh jaayenge bemisal Gyarah aur ek participant baahar ho jaayega/jaayegi.

Then he says that there is a surprise today, he asks Judges to reveal it.

Jatin - Main Alka ji se vinti karta hoon ki woh jaldi waapas aa jaayen.

And guess what She is indeed back. Alka ji is BACKKKKKKKKKKK! Waaah, I didn't expect this, I am pleasantly suprised I must say. GS brings her to stage...

Alka - Main sabka shukriya ada karna chahoongi, sabse jyada participants ka jinhone mujhse itni baar request ki waapas aane ke liye.

Now all contestants are on stage, sab ek ek karke aage aa rahe hain aur apna intro kar rahe hain kuchh lines gaate huye style se. Ab sab log VOI theme song gaa rahe hain.

Now its time to annouce today's guest judge and it is none other than PRITAM, WHOA! Kya kar diya GS ne..kisko bula liya aaj (I wonder if he told AS about it). Ab AS ka kya haal ho rahaa hoga...ROFL! They are going to sing Pritam (his? huh? ) songs today.

Aaj sabse pehle jinki baari hai unka naam hai Abhas.

Waah, as usual he does extremely well, ditto nahin gayaa song ko...kuchh apni taraf se add karke gayaa hai. Bahut achhe!

Pritam - Mujhe bahut achha lagaa

JP - Lovely, God bless you!

Alka - Aaj isne mujhe phirse yaad dila diya ki yeh kitna achha gaata hai

Result - Shaan hands him his envelop, he opens it and find himself in Suraksha Chakra (Safe Zone).

Badi pheeki thi performance, flat singing...no josh-o-kharosh in singing.

Good perforamce, he didn't try to imitate the original singer. Apni awaaz mein apne style se gaaya. Badhiya tha performance!

P - Yeh gaana high picted hai, tumhe bahut achha gaaya

AY - Tumhari awaaz mein itna dum hai

AS - Mera to mann kar rahaa hai ki tumhe studio mein le jaakar tumse gaana gawaaoon

Priyani is on stage now, ab uski baari hai. She is looking so pretty (as usual).

Priyani - Chhore Ki Baatein (Fight Club)

Wow, kya mindblowing performance thi. Full of energy, ekdam solid...didn't expect her to sing this kind of song so well. She rocked today!

P - Very good job

AS - Fantastic Voice

AY - Expressions were superb, which is her plus point. Punch hai awaaz mein, power hai..

AB - (to Alka) Aapki tabiyat to theek hai naa

Priyani - Maine to kuchh bhi gaaya aaj, Alka ji ke liye gaaya

Hmmm, didn't like her performance that much today. She doesn't seem to be in form today for whatever reasons. Koi dum nahin tha singing mein...am disappointed with her
performance today.

AB - Aaj josh nahin dikha

LP - Mujhe bahut achha lagaa

Sumitra isn't reacting much to the comments...not her usual smiling self.

AB - VOI ke baad shaadi karke ghar basaa lena

Toshi - Yaa Ali (Ganster)

Not impressed today, mazaa nahin aaya. He was lacking today, power nahin this awaaz mein jo iss song ke liye chahiye thi.

Great performance, what a comeback from last week's illness. He seems to be comfortable with Shaan's songs.

Ab aa rahi hain Mirande. Shaan mentions that she has fever (101 F) and also has tonsils. Mirande aaj theek nahin dikh rahi hai, chehre se hi pataa lag rahaa hai ki beemar hai. Judges ask her if she can sing, she says yes.

Mirande - Ishq Ishq Karna Hai Karle (Dhoom)

Wow, fever mein bhi aisa performance...Mirande mein hai kuchh special baat.

P - When I first met all of them to main yeh soch rahaa tha ki yeh song kaun gaayega, you did extremely well

AY - She sang amazingly

....then she suddenly feels something and is forced to leave stage, uski mummy runs towards her to take care of her. Thodi der ke baad she is back...She is in Suraksha Chakra.

Next contestant hai Abhilasha.

Abhilasha - Mahiya (Awarapan)

I was kind of surprised at her choice, main soch raha tha ki iss type ke song ko gaa paayegi ki nahin. And she does extremely well infact. Very well sung.

P = Very Very Good

Ab uski aankho mein aansoo aate hi jaa rahe hain. Alka goes and consoles her.
