Ok friends here comes today's episode. Shaan and Alka ji both are on the stage singing "Kuchh To Hua Hai (Kal Ho Na Ho)". Aaj ki theme hai "Pehla Pyaar".

Aaj ke guest judge hain mash-hoor Gazal gaayak Jagjit Singh ji.

JS - Aajkal bahut saare aise programme chal rahe hain, lekin VOI sabse best hai. Aaj main dekhne aaya hoon ki yeh log (contestants) gaate bhi hain ki sirf muh hilaate hain.

First contestant hai Irfan. There is a short AV now, Irfan is shown talking about love and whether he had any crush or something like that.

Irfan - Dil Ne Tumko (Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi)

Hmmm, theek thaak tha. Actually yeh song itni baar ho chuka hai contests mein ki mere kaan pak gaye hain sun sun kar.

Jagjit Singh (JS) - Thodi thaki huyi lagi awaaz

AY - Expectations bahut high hain.
JP - Mukhde mein kami lagi

Shaan - Kabhi kabhi jo simple songs hote hain unhe single tareeke se hi gaana chahiye, variations karne ki zaroorat nahin thi

Next is Mirande, lekin Lalit mentions that she still has fever and that they would not like to force her. So Toshi is called instead. Ab uska AV dikha rahe hain...

Toshi - Teri Deewani (Kailasa)

Achha hi thaa lekin meri expectations se kam. Feelings kam thi, dil ko nahin lagaa mere.

AB gets so excited that he goes to the stage and asks him to press the marks button by himself

JS - Bahut achha gaaya, infact original se achha gaaya

They again begin discussing about Mirande. JS asks them to let her sing, Mirande ki mom bhi bolti hai ki usko gaane do.

Mirande - Jiya Dhadak Dhadak (Kalyug)

Not bad, considering that her throat is nowhere near normal.

Judges are discussing whether she should be marked or not. They say it wouldn't be fair keeping in mind her condition. Lekin AB beech mein tapak padhte hain aur bolte hain "Agar gaaya hai to marks bhi doonga".

JS - I appreaciate your decision, she sang well. Baaki aapke (judges) aapas ka jo bhi jhagda hai woh aapas mein nipta leejiye.

Abhilasha - Saanwariya (Swades)

She begins singing...and Whoa! she suddenly stops! Ab kya problem ho gayi?

Abhilasha - Mera throat theek nahin hai

Ok...phirse restart hota hai song. Average thi performance, awaaz mein kharaash pataa chal rahi thi gaate huye.

JP - 8

TA (Team Agni) - 7

AB - Main dekh rahaa tha Mirande, tum aur Sumitra aajkal extra curricular activities mein kuchh jyada hi time spend kar rahe ho. Hum log yahaan jhak maarne ke liye nahin bethe hain, main bilkul bardasht nahin karoonga aisi cheezon ko. Hum log sirf music/songs ko sunne ke liye hain yahaan.

Bechaari Abhilasha ke aansoo nikal padhe hain ab.

Abhas - Mitwa (KANK)

Hmm, honestly speaking mazaa nahin aaya. Aaj kisi ki bhi performance mujhe utni achhi nahin lagi jitni meri expectations thi.

JS - Is program ka naam badal kar "Voices of India" rakh dena chahiye. Upar ki taan thodi kamzor jaa rahi thi.

JP - 9

AY - Bahut zabardast gaate ho bas thoda over kar dete ho

Ishmeet - Pehla Nasha (JJWS)

Oh no..he could not do justice to this great song. Bilkul feel nahin hua mujhe to. He was no patch on Udit ji, kahin aas paas bhi nahin tha.

JS - Voice quality bahut achhi hai

JP - Yeh song humaare liye Gita, Bible ya Quraan ki tarah hai.

Sumitra - Vaada Rahaa Sanam (Khiladi)

Hmm, ek aur listless performance..aaj kya ho gayaa hai sabko. Should have been much better, she is not her spunky self today..kal bhi thodi udaas si thi. Dunno what is missing from her.

JS - Very nice, achha gaaya

JP - 6

JP - Gaati bahut achha hai lekin bahut hadh tak achha nahin lagaa

AB - Pehli baar isne achha nahin gaaya

Shaan mentions about an interesting fact (related to himself and his sis Sagarika) related to this movie.

AB - Alka ji aap apni fav singer ko bulaaiye

Priyani - Jadoo Hai Tera Hi Jadoo (Ghulam)

Wow, Priyani ko achanak se kya ho gayaa hai...she has improved by leaps and bounds. Fantastic performance...her best till date.

AY - She is seen clapping her, and after the song goes to stage and hugs her.

Priyani - Bahut badaa din hai aaj mere liye, main sochti thi ki mere liye koi khadaa nahin hota hai.

AY - Yeh sab tumhare achha gaane ki wajah se hua hai

JS - Very good, fantastic, flawless...today's best performance

JP - 8

Harshit - Jo Haal Dil Ka (Sarfarosh)

Average thi performance...flat lagi mujhe to.

JS - Voice quality fantastic hai

AB - Mujhe aisa lagaa ki Kumar Sanu ji ko sun rahaa hoon naa ki Harshit ko. Then an argument erupts between AB and Lalit ji.

Prantik - Rabba Mere Rabba (Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai)

Good performance, I was a bit suprised by his choice bec'se it is originally sung by Sonu...main soch rahaa tha ki gaa bhi paayega ki nahin. Lekin bahut achha gaaya Prantik ne.

JS - Stage presense badi achhi hai

Last contestant hai Ashpreet (she needs to smile a bit more now).

Ashpreet - Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (PTHHT)

Hmmm..I felt the song didn't suit her voice. Phir bhi theek thaak lagaa mujhe.

JS - Awaaz mein throw bahut hai..fantastic

Aaj ka episode was disappointing singing wise but Priyani was fantabulous today.
